Permission for Leaving Campus

 During the school year our class plans to go on at least one field trip. Before leaving for a field trip we will send a note informing you of the destination, date, time of departure, and time of return.

There are other times, however, that we might like to leave the elementary campus for short periods of time - - such as a trip to Water Valley Park or across the street to Mrs. White’s yard for an outdoor activity (since the fire ants prevent us from sitting in a group on the playground). These “trips” will be for short periods of time and will be entirely within the school day. The elementary office will always be aware of our whereabouts any time our class leaves school property (in case you were to need to contact your child).

If you would like to help sponsor a field trip, please write a note at the bottom of this permission slip. Should you have any questions please contact Mrs. Sutton, Mrs. Neighbors, Mrs. White, or Mrs. Young at school at 484-3351.

                                                                 may attend class trips during the school year. I understand that I will be contacted before field trips longer than a couple of hours, but that the class may take other short off-campus excursions without prior notice.
